I'm Sjef, founder of OctaFlow. After more than fifteen years in logistics, internal transport and the transport sector, I know the world my clients work in from the inside.
I built that experience at, among others, two of the world's leading suppliers of material handling equipment, and beyond that in the trailer, transport and fleet sector. I worked on both the commercial and the operational side: as a key account manager and within the service organisation. That's why I understand not only the business considerations, but just as well the daily reality on the shop floor.
Over those years I have seen hundreds of logistics organisations from the inside: distribution centres, warehouses, manufacturers and hauliers. No two are the same, and yet the same patterns, bottlenecks and opportunities keep returning. By now I usually recognise them quickly.
My strength lies in quickly getting to the heart of a complex question and translating it into improvements that are practical and achievable, with demonstrable results. Not by making things complicated, but by getting to the core and keeping solutions simple. A fresh perspective, plenty of energy and a healthy dose of entrepreneurship come with that.
What I advise is entirely independent. Not driven by suppliers, products or commercial interests, but by a single question: what is genuinely best for the client here?
And perhaps most important of all: the best partnerships grow between people who trust each other and enjoy working together. That sums up what OctaFlow stands for: with great people, for great people.
